Anomaly detection Walkthrough
Lifetimely’s anomaly detection report helps spotting unusual trends in your marketing performance indicators — spend, conversion and revenue. It looks at the 7 day rolling average of these metrics and highlights deviations from that. Here are some examples of how this can be helpful:
- Having a spike in conversion on a campaign that's over performing and needs more budget is a good thing to know as soon as possible
- Same for dips in revenue to see when effectiveness is wearing off
- This is especially important when a campaign is over spending without bringing the results necessary so you can pivot your budget to other better performing ones
- Go deeper into an anomaly by drilling down to see which campaigns triggered a specific anomaly to know how to course correct
